September is National Recovery Month, and Islip Goes Purple is a
month-long initiative in Islip Township to raise awareness of mental
health and substance use disorders. Students from Reed Middle School,
accompanied by Principal Anthony Coggiano, School Board Member Debra
Cavanagh and Reed Middle School Teacher Yvette Brideau, filmed a video
