Please note - This form is for registering students entering Kindergarten in September 2022.

This link is NOT to be used for the registration of new students First Grade - 12th Grade, enrolling in the Central Islip School District between September 2022 through June 2023.  

 Children must be 5 years old on or before December 1, 2022, to be eligible for kindergarten this fall.

Kindergarten is the start of a lifelong love journey of learning and success.


As your child enters the new and exciting world of kindergarten, we want you to know that his/her success and happiness is important to us here at Central Islip.  Let's work together in  order to make this first journey a positive experience for your child.  Please know that your encouragement and support at home is crucial.  An important component to a child's success is good communication between the school and home.  Typically, young children enter school eager to learn, let's work together to keep this candle burning throughout their educational journey.  Always stay connected to your child's school.

Please be advised that you can begin the form, even if you do not have all of the required documentation on hand, as you have the ability to still save and return to the form at any time prior to submission.
Make sure you have all the required documents before uploading and clicking submit.

We are excited to introduce our new Kindergarten Online Registration program.  Should you have any questions, please call us at 631-348-4196.  You will also have technical support from the online program.  Please see Power School Enrollment page.


Step 1:  To start the online registration process, gather all the documentations listed: birth certificate, Immunizations, Affidavit/mortgage, two recent utilities (electric, cable, gas, water), picture ID, Immunization form, physical form, dentist form.  All documents have to be uploaded to the registry.


Step 2:  Click the link below to begin online registration:  If this is the first child you are registering in the district through the Power School online registration form, you will be required to create a Power School Enrollment account before you can proceed.  This account can be used to register any other children in the future as well. Follow along the program as it guides you.


Step 3:  You will receive an email message from Central Registration informing you of the status of your submission.

Paso 1: Para comenzar el proceso de registro en línea, reúna todos los documentos enumerados: partida de nacimiento, vacunas, declaración del dueño si alquila/ la hipoteca de casa si es dueño, mas dos utilidades del dueño (luz, cable, gas, aceite, agua), una identificación del padre, el físico, Vacunas y el formulario del dentista. Todo los documentos tienen que ser subidos el en registro.  Si no lo hace en ese momento, el registro sera incompleto. 

Paso 2: Haga clic en el enlace a continuación para comenzar la inscripción en línea: si este es el primer niño que se está registrando en el distrito a través del formulario de inscripción en línea de Power School, deberá crear una cuenta de inscripción en PowerSchool antes de continuar. Esta cuenta también se puede utilizar para registrar a otros niños en el futuro.  Siga el programa mientras lo guía.


Paso 3: Recibirá un mensaje de correo electrónico de Central Registration que le informará sobre el estado de su envío.
