2010 RESULTS: GOLD W/ DISTINCTION

The Concert Choir, under the direction of Mr. Anthony, achieved the highest rating possible at this year's NYSSMA Majors, GOLD w/ DISTINCTION. It is the fifth time in nine years that the choir has achieved this honor. In fact, the choir has only ever achieved GOLD or better in the 9 years it has been going to NYSSMA Majors. At the NYSSMA Major Organization Evaluation Festival the choir is evaluated by a panel of adjudicators/judges who write constructive comments and score the choir in specific areas of performance criteria. The ratings are Certificate of Participation, Bronze, Silver, Gold, & Gold w/ Distinction. Ratings are awarded based upon the judges' assessments of how well the choir has demonstrated its proficiency at the level presented (Level VI repertoire is the most advanced).

2010- GOLD w/DISTINCTION- Level 6
